Good to Have Skills: Six Sigma Green Belt certification, prior experience working for multinational corporations, familiarity with TL9000 requirements, experience as a business process auditor, knowledge of specialty glass manufacturing, LEAN methodology experience, MiniTab or SAS statistical software proficiency, DMAIC and DESIGN methodologies.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Serve as Quality Engineering stakeholder for all product, process, or equipment changes within the organization.
- Evaluate the impact of process and equipment changes on product attributes and quality architectures.
- Ensure product produced under non-standard conditions is correctly held, evaluated, and released according to protocols.
- Monitor critical product performance attributes and take appropriate corrective action when deviations occur.
- Perform experimental designs and conduct comprehensive data analysis to support quality improvement initiatives.
- Lead or assist in the investigation of root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for customer issues.
- Recommend process and quality improvements or corrections based on analysis and findings.
- Audit the compliance of the quality system to ensure adherence to established standards and procedures.
- Act as quality receiver for new manufacturing processes and monitor product attribute performance during implementation.
- Oversee initial product qualification processes to ensure products meet specified quality requirements.
Experience Required: 3-7 years of experience in a quality engineering or applications engineering role with demonstrated quality mindset and process rigor.
Education: Bachelor of Engineering (Any Stream)
