Description

You will own testing activities and automation strategies to ensure high-quality, resilient customer journeys across platforms.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with development and product teams to drive improvements in automation processes and testing techniques.
• Implement automation solutions and maintain healthy CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing.
• Set and manage product quality standards, collecting and reporting metrics to identify patterns, risks, and opportunities.
• Design scalable, high-performing test suites that adhere to program principles and keep testing lean.
• Drive best practices including root cause analysis and the governance of automation within a CI/CD environment.

Required Skills

• 5 to 9 years of experience in technology with an emphasis on QA and automation.
• Demonstrable experience using Go (Golang) as a programming language.
• Experience testing backend microservices, specifically REST and asynchronous messaging services like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Proficiency with modern datastores such as Postgres, Cassandra, and Elasticsearch.
• Hands-on experience with BDD tools like Cucumber or Godog.
• Experience with REST API testing tools (Rest Assured, Resty) and HTTP stubbing (Wiremock, Mountbank).
• Practical knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD/CT tools including Jenkins, Rally, or JIRA, and version control via Git or SVN.
• Strong understanding of TDD, BDD, and software engineering methodologies including Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
• Proven ability to run functional, automated, and performance tests while managing defects.
