Description

Lead quality assurance for Duck Creek Policy applications in an Agile and Waterfall environment. You will own the end-to-end testing lifecycle, from requirement analysis to defect resolution and release management.

Responsibilities

• Drive the QA release cycle, including analyzing client requirements, preparing test plans, scenarios, cases, and RTMs.
• Execute functional, end-to-end, and upgrade testing for P&C Commercial, Specialty, and Personal lines products.
• Design, implement, and maintain automation strategies using Duck Creek Test Automation Center (DCT) and Selenium WebDriver with Java/TestNG.
• Manage defect lifecycles, conduct regression testing, and resolve object identification and error handling issues.
• Collaborate with Test Leads, Managers, Onsite Teams, and Client BAs to conduct review meetings and improve application quality.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in software quality engineering with a focus on Duck Creek Policy testing.
• Hands-on expertise in functional and system testing for P&C Insurance domains (Commercial, Specialty, Personal lines).
• Proficiency in creating and executing automation scripts using DCT, Selenium WebDriver, Java, and TestNG.
• Strong understanding of XML data structures and basic operations.
• Experience with test management and CI/CD tools such as TFS, Jenkins, Maven, Azure DevOps, or GitHub.
• Proven ability to design automation frameworks, configure test environments (Eclipse IDE), and manage test resources.
• Sound knowledge of SDLC and STLC within Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with performance tuning of product applications.
• Knowledge of North American, Indian, Asia Pacific, or UK insurance markets.
