Description

Lead quality engineering efforts across software development lifecycles, owning testing strategies for RDBMS databases, APIs, and end-to-end workflows.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute comprehensive testing for RDBMS databases, specifically SQL Server and Teradata.
• Perform SOAP and REST-based API testing using established methodologies and best practices.
• Debug and research technical issues independently with minimal supervision to resolve complex defects.
• Manage multiple testing tasks simultaneously, adjusting quickly to shifting priorities and requirements.
• Communicate technical findings, risks, and status updates through clear verbal and written reports.

Required Skills

• Proven experience with RDBMS database testing, including SQL Server and Teradata.
• Proficiency in SOAP and REST-based API testing practices and tools.
• Hands-on experience working within Agile and Waterfall SDLC frameworks.
• Practical use of JIRA for issue tracking and qTest for test management.
• Strong debugging capabilities and technical research skills to isolate root causes.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing testing efforts across mixed Agile and Waterfall environments.
