Description

Lead the quality engineering practice for the segment, managing a team of 15-20 engineers across multiple sites.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build, hire, and coach a team of Quality Engineers to meet segment quality objectives.
• Own the test strategy and execution plan for all squads within the segment.
• Drive automation to support CI/CD and uplift overall software quality.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on quality patterns while mitigating delivery risks.
• Manage segment test data and contribute to the integrity of test environments.

Required Skills

• Over 7 years of experience in functional and non-functional testing, including manual and automation.
• Proven experience as a people manager leading teams of 15-20 members.
• Experience developing testing programs, test cases, and test scripts in medium to large scale environments.
• Proficiency with automated software-testing tools, methodologies, and standards.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies and continuous delivery environments.
• Ability to implement and direct quality engineering processes and principles.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
• Valid and unrestricted working rights in Australia.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platform technologies including GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Basic cloud certification in GCP, AWS, or Azure.
