Description

Perform microbiological testing and maintain laboratory standards in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute general microbiology procedures and aseptic sampling techniques.
• Conduct microbiological testing following FDA, cGMP, GLP, and USP methodologies.
• Maintain accurate records using Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
• Operate laboratory instrumentation including laminar flow hoods, autoclaves, and incubators.
• Prioritize multiple tasks to ensure timely completion of testing protocols.

Required Skills

• B.S. degree in Microbiology, Biology, or a related science.
• Experience with aseptic techniques and microbiological testing.
• Knowledge of FDA, cGMP, GLP, and USP testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with quality-based computer systems such as LIMS.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word and Excel.
• Understanding of laboratory equipment operation and maintenance.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Strong documentation skills following GDP standards.

Preferred Skills

• Minimum 1 year of experience in the Pharmaceutical or Medical Device industry.
