Description

You will own the plant’s quality strategy and manage the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and ASHRAE standards.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the plant’s quality strategy aligned with business goals and customer requirements.
• Oversee plant-wide quality improvement initiatives to reduce defects, scrap, and rework.
• Lead root cause analysis (RCCA), corrective actions (CA), and continuous improvement (CIP).
• Drive supplier quality initiatives, including audits and process capability improvements.
• Monitor and report on key quality performance indicators (KPIs) to leadership.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ASHRAE standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Expertise in Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
• Proficiency in advanced quality tools: FMEA, SPC, and DOE.
• Hands-on experience with manufacturing processes like welding, brazing, assembly, and testing.
• Proficiency in quality data analysis tools such as Minitab or JMP.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Proven ability to lead quality teams and drive strategic initiatives.
