Description

Own the quality assurance strategy and execution for Mainframe, Web, and DB2-based applications across the full software testing lifecycle.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute functional, regression, and performance test plans for Mainframe, Web, and DB2 applications.
• Manage the entire testing lifecycle including test case creation, execution, defect tracking, and reporting.
• Collaborate with onsite stakeholders, development teams, and offshore QA teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Identify and communicate risks, defects, and quality concerns while recommending process improvements.
• Apply Agile testing methodologies and support test management activities using JIRA.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Software Testing, and Test Management.
• Strong expertise in test strategy, design, and execution for Mainframe, Web, and DB2-based applications.
• Proven experience in functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Stakeholder management and offshore team coordination skills.
• Working knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Capital Markets or Custody domain.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium and Python.
