Description

You will oversee the quality roles of the mobile refurbishment process, providing leadership to the inspection team and managing third-party repair vendor performance.

Responsibilities

• Manage an internal inspection team, including hiring through staffing agencies and monitoring daily task completion.
• Drive vendor performance to meet quality KPIs by identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain quality inspection processes, including checklists for inbound, inline, and outbound inspections.
• Provide formal weekly and monthly reports on repair quality performance.
• Coordinate internal teams to deliver formal root cause and corrective action responses.

Required Skills

• 5-7 years of job-related experience in quality assurance or similar roles.
• Thorough understanding of ANSI/ASQC Z1.4 standards.
• Experience using Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) applications.
• Ability to gather and analyze data from multiple sources to create spreadsheets, charts, and graphs.
• Experience auditing internal processes and third parties to ensure adequate process controls.
• Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong technical writing skills for preparing reports, manuals, and test procedures.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with ISO 9000 to support certification audits.
