Description

Perform quality inspections and technical troubleshooting across North America to ensure part and tooling accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Check body welding tooling and part accuracy using Vectorarm, Perceptron, and FARO portable CMM equipment.
• Gather part information from Digital Engineering systems and analyze sub-assembly data to provide feedback to project leaders.
• Verify part quality using hand tools, quality checking fixtures, and scanners.
• Support sheet metal sub-assembly and body build trials during pre-production events.
• Troubleshoot equipment, tooling, parts, and part fitting issues.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in quality roles.
• Proficiency with portable CMM equipment including Vectorarm, FARO, or scanners.
• Experience using hand tools and quality checking fixtures.
• Strong computer skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Ability to handle medium to heavy physical work.
• Capacity to work independently and within a team.
• Availability for 60% travel within the USA, Mexico, and Canada.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, off shifts, and up to 50% overtime.

Preferred Skills

• Mechanical Engineering background or fundamental tool knowledge.
• Experience with 3D Magic, PolyWorks, or Catia.
• Knowledge of metrology, weld tooling design, weld tool fabrication, or CAD design.
