Description

You will manage quality control standards and testing procedures for industrial processes, materials, and products.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve sampling procedures, designs, and documentation for recording and reporting quality and reliability data.
• Supervise programs to evaluate the precision and accuracy of production, testing, and analytical equipment.
• Direct personnel engaged in measuring, testing, and tabulating data regarding material and process quality.
• Develop and initiate methods for inspection and evaluation using chemical, electrical, or mechanical engineering principles.
• Plan and maintain quality standards for industrial processes and product reliability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in quality control engineering or related fields.
• Expert ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
• Proficiency with Computer Aided Design (CAD) software.
• Experience with automated testing and software applications related to engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven leadership and mentoring skills to provide performance feedback.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Background in research, process control, or metrology.

Preferred Skills

• Specialized knowledge in incoming material inspection, inventory control, or product evaluation.
