Description

Manage part accuracy and quality inspections within automotive or aerospace manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Check body welding tooling and part accuracy using Vectorarm, Perceptron, and FARO portable CMM equipment.
• Gather part information from Digital Engineering systems to support quality verification.
• Use hand tools and quality checking fixtures to inspect part quality.
• Troubleshoot equipment, tooling, parts, and fitting issues while analyzing data for project leaders.

Required Skills

• 3+ years experience in automotive or aerospace quality inspection.
• Proficiency with Vectorarm, FARO, scanners, or similar portable CMM equipment.
• Ability to use Perceptron and perform body weld inspections.
• Strong computer skills including MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Capability to create and maintain schedules.
• Physical ability to handle medium to heavy work.
• Availability to work weekends, holidays, off shifts, and overtime.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of DE tools including 3D Magic, PolyWorks, or Catia.
• Experience in metrology, weld tooling design, weld tool fabrication, or CAD design.
