You will manage supplier quality performance and drive process improvements for powertrain components.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead critical supplier processes to improve Quality Reject (QR) performance and resolve 3MIS and 0MIS warranty concerns.
• Coordinate part quality confirmation and containment for suppliers with repetitive containment failures.
• Manage containment for special-cause supplier process BSAQ projects and align with PRT on Glidepath values.
• Communicate potential Stop Shipments to the STA Site team and support resolution of suspect material or vehicles on hold.
• Act as the primary liaison between STA and manufacturing plant management during daily quality meetings.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in quality or reliability engineering.
• Working knowledge of engine and transmission systems.
• Experience managing Ford powertrain suppliers.
• Proficiency in problem-solving methodologies including 8D and FMEA.
• Ability to travel to supplier sites as required.
• Experience with QR, PPM data accuracy, and PAC process reporting.
• Knowledge of BSAQ and PRT meeting structures.
