Responsibilities

• Own the full software development lifecycle from requirement facilitation to deployment.
• Write efficient, clear code and comprehensive test suites using functional programming.
• Collaborate with technologists, analysts, and stakeholders across global locations.
• Drive development efforts and manage technical ambiguity within an agile environment.
• Articulate technical implementations and design decisions clearly to diverse audiences.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in Haskell or Scala.
• Experience with other functional languages such as OCaml.
• Strong software design principles and functional programming patterns.
• Experience developing server-side software.
• Hands-on experience working in Linux environments.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of financial markets, investment banking, or derivative products.
• Experience with e-trading technology.
• Interest in learning cloud computing.
