Description

You will design, build, and migrate R-based analytics data science products to cloud-native architectures on AWS.

Responsibilities

  • Build scalable workflows to integrate automated R analytics products on AWS.
  • Develop data science tools using R Shiny and deploy artifacts into RStudio Connect via CI/CD.
  • Design, test, and support R programs for modeling applications using distributed computing.
  • Support model deployment using containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Write deployment scripts focusing on infrastructure automation and continuous delivery.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of IT experience across software development, Data Science, and DevOps.
  • 3+ years of development experience with R, R packages, RStudio, RStudio Connect, RStudio Package Manager, Python, and SQL.
  • 2+ years of experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, SageMaker, and Glue.
  • 2+ years of experience building and maintaining CI/CD tooling using Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, or GitHub.
  • 2+ years of experience in analytical roles involving data extraction and analysis.
  • Proficiency in Shell Scripting (Bash, Csh, Ksh).
  • Experience with Data Exploration packages in Base R.
