Description

You will migrate research analytics applications to the cloud, implementing scalable R data science products and cloud-native architectures on AWS.

Responsibilities

• Design and build automated workflows for scalable R analytics data science products on AWS.
• Develop R Shiny web applications and deploy artifacts into RStudio Connect using CI/CD pipelines.
• Execute modeling application systems via distributed computing on AWS.
• Support model deployment using Docker and Kubernetes containerization.
• Maintain technical documentation, including system diagrams and operational procedures, and participate in an on-call rotation for critical outages.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development, Data Science, or DevOps functions.
• Proficiency in R, R packages, RStudio, RStudio Connect, and RStudio Package Manager.
• Experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, SageMaker, and Glue.
• Hands-on experience with Shell Scripting (Bash, Csh, Ksh).
• Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, and Web & Cloud Technologies.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD tooling with Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, or GitHub.
• Experience with data exploration packages in Base R and deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Familiarity with AWS Well-Architected Framework.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with RStudio on Domino or SageMaker.
