Description

You will manage the installation, configuration, and administration of RabbitMQ across UNIX and Windows environments. You will own the messaging infrastructure within AWS cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage RabbitMQ exchanges, queues, and virtual hosts.
• Implement clustering, security protocols, and high availability for RabbitMQ nodes.
• Monitor RabbitMQ alarms and handle troubleshooting and migrations.
• Apply message-oriented middleware concepts including asynchronous and pub-sub messaging styles.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with RabbitMQ administration.
• Proficiency with messaging APIs including JMS, STOMP, AMQP, and REST.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud deployment and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of Linux OS and networking fundamentals.
• Experience with RabbitMQ installation and configuration on Windows and UNIX.
• Ability to manage dependencies using Maven.
• Understanding of REST client architecture.

Preferred Skills

• Java/JEE development experience.
• Knowledge of Spring Framework and Puppet configuration management.
