Description

You will design, validate, and troubleshoot cellular RF subsystems for AR products.

Responsibilities

• Deliver cellular RF designs for specific subsystems in collaboration with RF leads.
• Plan and execute cellular RF validation to determine performance and generate technical reports.
• Perform RF matching tuning and verify performance using Smith charts and S-parameters.
• Investigate and debug test setup and performance issues.
• Drive multi-functional engineering discussions to ensure workstream delivery.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in RF design and validation with LTE or 5G technologies.
• Proficiency in RF circuit design and PCB layout methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with RF test equipment including spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and cellular call boxes.
• Deep understanding of 3GPP requirements and key cellular RF parameters.
• Practical skills in component rework, including soldering and mock-ups on small PCBs and devices.
• Strong written and oral communication skills for status and test reporting.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to write test scripts using Python.
• Validation experience with GPS, WiFi, or Bluetooth technologies.
• Knowledge of electromagnetic simulations and RFIC design.
