You will perform radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations under the direction of a Radiologist in Somerset, NJ.
Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures using appropriate equipment and anatomic positioning.
- Document patient history and validate identity through verbal confirmation and proof of identity.
- Prepare and administer contrast media as required for specific procedures.
- Coordinate daily activities including examinations and associated clerical duties.
- Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with departmental standards.
Required Skills
- ARRT registration or registry eligibility (registration required within one year for new graduates).
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Ability to perform strenuous physical tasks, including assisting patients from wheelchairs and stretchers.
- Manual dexterity for precision work with radiographic equipment and patient manipulation.
- Capacity to bend, twist, squat, or kneel to operate equipment.
- Strong oral and written communication skills for patient and staff interaction.
- Visual and auditory acuity for monitoring patients and equipment within 10 feet.
- 5+ years of working experience.
- Any graduate education.
