Description

You will perform radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations under the direction of a Radiologist in Somerset, NJ.

Responsibilities

  • Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures using appropriate equipment and anatomic positioning.
  • Document patient history and validate identity through verbal confirmation and proof of identity.
  • Prepare and administer contrast media as required for specific procedures.
  • Coordinate daily activities including examinations and associated clerical duties.
  • Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with departmental standards.

Required Skills

  • ARRT registration or registry eligibility (registration required within one year for new graduates).
  • Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Ability to perform strenuous physical tasks, including assisting patients from wheelchairs and stretchers.
  • Manual dexterity for precision work with radiographic equipment and patient manipulation.
  • Capacity to bend, twist, squat, or kneel to operate equipment.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills for patient and staff interaction.
  • Visual and auditory acuity for monitoring patients and equipment within 10 feet.
  • 5+ years of working experience.
  • Any graduate education.
