Description

Build and maintain a Rails application for managing Minimum Security Standards for Electronic Information, including an administrative UI, public-facing interface, and secure CAS authentication.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the Rails application and its database of security standards.
• Develop a public-facing interface that generates requirement lists based on user parameters.
• Implement data export functionality for PDF, Excel, and Google Sheets formats.
• Integrate CAS authentication for secure administrative access.
• Ensure WCAG accessibility compliance and manage deployment across production and QA environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails.
• Experience implementing CAS authentication.
• Proven ability to build accessible user interfaces (WCAG 2.0/2.2).
• Experience developing data export utilities (PDF, Excel, or CSV).
• Ability to manage separate production and testing/QA environments.
• Experience with requirements gathering and prototyping sessions.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with accessibility subject matter experts to meet WCAG 2.2 standards.
