Description

You will design and manage virtualized RAN architectures in a large-scale network environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze 5G ORAN and vRAN split functions, including 7-2x, RU, DU, CU, CP, and UP.
• Configure RF radio operations over eCPRI interfaces, managing CSR, DU, and timing settings.
• Manage software systems and services running virtualized ORAN functions.
• Address latency and connectivity issues between gNB and Data Center locations.
• Implement orchestration and automation across virtualized network architectures.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of wireless industry experience.
• Extensive experience with 5G ORAN or vRAN architectures in virtualized environments.
• Deep understanding of 3GPP standards (Rel 15 & 16) as they relate to vRAN/ORAN.
• Expertise in LTE, VoLTE, and 5G VoNR L2/L3 call flows.
• Proficiency in analyzing PCAP and GNB traces.
• Hands-on experience with RAN/vRAN software.
• BS or MS in Engineering, a technical degree, or equivalent related experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in RF Design, Optimization, and performance improvement.
