Description

You will lead the transition of operational and engineering tasks for a RancherOS environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, investigate, and optimize the RancherOS environment.
• Integrate RancherOS with Kubernetes to manage upgrades, patches, and software deployment.
• Automate infrastructure processes using Ansible and other management tools.
• Develop standard operating procedures and run books for user, node, and space management.
• Train team members through shadowing and reverse shadowing to ensure knowledge transfer.

Required Skills

• 5–8 years of active experience with RancherOS.
• 9+ years of total IT experience.
• Expertise in UNIX systems (Red Hat, Ubuntu).
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and Kubernetes environments.
• Proficiency with Ansible and Ansible Tower.
• Experience with VMware and ESXi.
• Experience with Git and Windows OS.
• Experience with NetApp storage.
