Description

Maintain and repair telecommunications and network cabling infrastructure at the Pentagon.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, and test Category 6 cabling, VOIP networks, and fiber optic infrastructure.
• Interpret service orders, circuit diagrams, and electrical schematics to execute repair activities.
• Document network layouts by labeling and routing equipment and cables.
• Perform routine maintenance, including identifying and removing abandoned cable and ensuring neat bundling.

Required Skills

• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance (Secret clearance may be considered).
• 5+ years of experience in network cabling or telecommunications.
• Hands-on experience with fiber optic testing using OTDRs and power meters.
• Expertise in managing service orders and repair workflows.
• Experience with fusion splicing and cable termination.
• Proficiency with electrical layouts and interpreting electrical schematics.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working within strict government facility security protocols.
• Ability to work 100% onsite at the Pentagon on a Monday-Friday schedule.
