Description

You will lead the architecture and development of the Rapid Sure application, ensuring scalable and reliable Java-based solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement microservices using Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and REST webservices with distributed transaction management.
• Architect systems using Azure services including Azure Spring Apps, Kubernetes, SQL, Redis, and Key Vault.
• Develop and maintain rule engines, leveraging Open Rules or similar technologies for business logic.
• Apply object-oriented design principles and patterns such as Saga and Circuit Breaker to solve complex distributed system challenges.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to debug issues and deliver solutions within Agile and DevOps frameworks.

Required Skills

• 12-16 years of IT experience with proven background as a Java Architect or similar role.
• Strong development experience in Java 8 or 11.
• Proficiency in J2EE, EJB 3.0, and Java Server Faces.
• Deep knowledge of Microservices Architecture, Design Patterns, and REST webservices.
• Hands-on experience with Latest Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Spring Batch.
• Experience with MS SQL Server database management.
• Familiarity with Azure Services (Spring Apps, Kubernetes, SQL, File System, Cache, Queues, Key Vault).
• Experience working specifically with the Rapid Sure Application.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Java 17, including Functional Programming, Streams, Records, and Switch Expressions.
• Knowledge of at least one: Groovy, JBoss, Eclipse Plugin Development, Code Refactoring, or Performance Optimization.
