Description

You will lead multiple teams to build solutions for materials data management and oversee software development and testing activities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver assigned projects on time while meeting quality standards and product specifications.
• Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing engineering talent.
• Manage multiple teams or sections, often through subordinate managers.
• Guide software development and testing lifecycles within your teams.
• Ensure appropriate technical methods and procedures are followed during implementation.

Required Skills

• BS in Engineering, Materials Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics with 12 years of experience, MS with 10 years, or PhD with 8 years.
• At least 3 years of experience in a management role.
• Commercial experience with C#, .NET, SQL, TypeScript, Python, or C++.
• Proven track record of successful product releases.
• Experience leading, managing, and directing software teams.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical roadmaps and plans.
• Ability to communicate complex information clearly to stakeholders and developers.
• Experience driving success across different teams and geographies.

Preferred Skills

• Expert-level knowledge in C#, SQL Server, TypeScript, Python, or C++.
• Experience delivering large-scale commercial products and optimized, scalable enterprise solutions.
• Experience with the development, deployment, and maintenance of cloud-hosted enterprise applications.
