Description

You lead multiple engineering teams to build materials data management solutions and oversee the full software development and testing lifecycle.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Deliver assigned projects on time while meeting quality standards and product specifications.
• Guide software development and testing lifecycles across subordinate managers.
• Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing engineering talent.
• Ensure appropriate technical methods and procedures are followed during implementation.
• Translate business requirements into technical roadmaps and plans.

Required Skills

• BS in Engineering, Materials Science, CS, Math, or Physics with 12 years experience (MS with 10, PhD with 8).
• At least 3 years of experience in a management role.
• Commercial experience with C#, .NET, SQL, TypeScript, Python, or C++.
• Proven track record of successful product releases.
• Experience leading, managing, and directing software teams.
• Ability to communicate complex information clearly to stakeholders and developers.
• Experience driving success across different teams and geographies.

Preferred Skills

• Expert-level knowledge in C#, SQL Server, TypeScript, Python, or C++.
• Experience delivering large-scale commercial products and optimized, scalable enterprise solutions.
• Experience with the development, deployment, and maintenance of cloud-hosted enterprise applications.
