Description

You will lead the identification, documentation, and support of client tax positions regarding R&D tax credits. You will own the technical strategy for the R&D practice while managing client engagements and supervising consulting professionals.

Responsibilities

• Identify and document technical R&D tax credit positions for clients.
• Drive business development and marketing initiatives to grow the R&D practice.
• Manage client relationships as the primary contact on assigned engagements.
• Supervise tax consulting professionals and delegate work assignments.
• Lead process improvement and team-building initiatives to support junior members.

Required Skills

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in R&D tax consulting.
• Direct experience communicating with Revenue regarding R&D tax credit audits.
• Proven track record of supervising professional tax consultants.
• Demonstrated ability to grow a business and meet project deadlines.
• Strong technical communication skills for documentation and client interaction.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
• Experience working both independently and within a group environment.
