Description

You will prototype, refine, and implement signal processing and 3D graphics algorithms for research software systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with software engineers to contribute to the overall architecture of research software systems.
• Partner with scientists and clinical professionals to validate new algorithm concepts through benchtop and preclinical testing.
• Gather feedback from customers and clinical teams to iteratively improve software solutions.
• Document complex technical topics clearly and participate in cross-functional reviews to ensure quality.

Required Skills

• At least 4 years of practical experience in software development, particularly with C++.
• Proficiency with Linux operating systems and development tools such as Visual Studio, Jira, and Perforce.
• B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Advanced degrees in a relevant field.
