Description

You will own the architecture, prototyping, and implementation of research software systems, collaborating with scientists and engineers to deliver signal processing and 3D graphics solutions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with software development engineers to define and contribute to the overall architecture of research software systems.
• Prototype, refine, and implement innovative signal processing and 3D graphics algorithms alongside scientists and clinical professionals.
• Participate in benchtop and preclinical testing to validate new algorithm concepts and software features.
• Engage with customers and clinical teams to gather feedback and iteratively improve research software solutions.
• Document complex technical topics clearly and participate in cross-functional review processes to ensure quality.

Required Skills

• B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of practical experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency with C++.
• Experience with Linux operating systems.
• Proficiency with Visual Studio.
• Experience using Jira for issue tracking.
• Experience using Perforce for version control.
