Description

You will design and execute test plans for orbital mechanics and aerospace mission simulations.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans for orbital mechanics and aerospace mission simulations.
• Perform functional, regression, performance, and API testing in manual and automated environments.
• Automate test activities at the application and systems levels for space mission use cases.
• Validate astrodynamics algorithms and mission modeling features alongside developers and domain experts.
• Investigate test failures and perform root cause analysis.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in verification or testing roles.
• Programming experience in Python, C#, and/or Java.
• Coursework or experience in astrodynamics, orbital mechanics, or space systems.
• Knowledge of satellite operations, mission design, or orbit determination concepts.
• Proficiency working in both Windows and Linux environments.
• BS in Aerospace Engineering, Astronautics, Systems Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with STK, ODTK, or similar aerospace modeling tools.
• Familiarity with automated test frameworks such as NUnit or JUnit.
• Experience with CI/CD practices, version control, and Perl scripting.
