Description

You will execute verification and testing for structural engineering software products.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain test cases and scripts to validate software functionality and performance.
• Apply Finite Element Analysis (FEA) principles to perform functional, regression, and application testing.
• Create comprehensive test plans and manage defect tracking and testing metrics.
• Collaborate with product teams to analyze requirements and develop automated tests for new features.
• Participate in design and code reviews to ensure product usability and quality.

Required Skills

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 2+ years of experience, or MS degree with no prior experience.
• Strong understanding of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) principles.
• Programming experience in Python, C#, C++, or Visual Studio.
• Experience working in Windows, VM, and Cloud computing environments.
• Ability to perform manual and automated testing across various environments.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills

• Technical knowledge and experience with Ansys products.
• Experience with CAE tools in industrial or academic projects.
• Experience in a large-scale commercial software testing and verification environment.
