Description

Execute verification and testing workflows for optical software and products.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Specify and write test cases, scripts, and update existing tests.
• Perform functional, regression, and performance testing in automated and manual environments.
• Investigate root causes of problems and verify defect fixes.
• Create test plans and participate in defect management and testing metrics.
• Communicate technical findings to both scientific and programming staff.

Required Skills

• MS in Optical Engineering or a directly related field.
• 2+ years of industry experience.
• 2+ years of OpticStudio experience.
• 1+ years of experience using Python or another modern programming language for computational analysis and modeling.
• 1+ years of industrial experience designing, building, or testing optical products.
• Proficiency working in Windows, Linux, VMs, and Cloud environments.
• Conversational English communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Technical knowledge of the OpticStudio Application Programming Interface (ZOZ-API).
• Solid foundation in optical physics.
• Experience in a large-scale commercial software testing and verification environment.
