Description

You will own functional and regression testing to ensure product quality across manual and automated environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional and regression testing in manual and automated environments.
• Verify defect fixes and document software defect reports.
• Execute testing within Windows, Linux, VM, and Cloud computing environments.
• Collaborate with scientific and programming staff to communicate technical findings.
• Apply standard development and testing processes to all verification tasks.

Required Skills

• BS in Optical Engineering or a directly related field.
• 1+ years of experience using OpticStudio.
• Experience with software validation and testing methodologies.
• Proficiency in Windows, Linux, VMs, and Cloud environments.
• Technical proficiency in MATLAB.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to simplify complex issues.

Preferred Skills

• MS degree or BS with 1-3 years of industry experience.
• 1+ years of experience using Python for computational analysis or modeling.
• Technical knowledge of the OpticStudio Application Programming Interface (ZOZ-API).
