Description

Lead the architectural design and development of broadband devices using the RDK-B stack.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement embedded software for broadband access technologies, specifically DOCSIS and GPON.
• Architect technical solutions and communicate complex system details to subject matter experts.
• Manage software builds and system integration using the Yocto build system.
• Collaborate with industry standard bodies such as WFA and BBF to align development with requirements.

Required Skills

• 12 to 18+ years of experience in embedded systems and embedded software development.
• Extensive hands-on experience with the RDK-B stack and broadband device development.
• Proficiency in Embedded C/C++ and Linux programming.
• Deep understanding of the Yocto build system.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols including TCP/IP, UDP, DHCP, and DNS.
• Practical experience with DOCSIS and GPON technologies.
• Ability to articulate architectural details to technical domain experts.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with industry standard bodies like WFA or BBF.
