Description

Lead the architectural design and development of broadband device software stacks using the RDK-B framework.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain embedded software for broadband devices using the RDK-B stack.
• Design and implement networking protocols and communication layers.
• Manage embedded software lifecycles using the Yocto build system.
• Collaborate with standard bodies such as WFA and BBF to ensure compliance.
• Articulate complex architectural and technical details to subject matter experts.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in embedded systems and embedded software development.
• Extensive experience with the RDK-B stack.
• Proficiency in Embedded C/C++ and Linux systems.
• Deep knowledge of Linux programming.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols including TCP/IP, UDP, DHCP, and DNS.
• Hands-on experience with the Yocto build system.
• Experience with broadband access technologies such as DOCSIS and GPON.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with standard bodies like WFA or BBF.
