Description

You will develop and optimize video software stacks for embedded Linux environments, translating product requirements into technical solutions for Set Top Box platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain low-level video software stacks, including AV pipelines and middleware frameworks.
• Translate product requirements into technical solutions for embedded platforms.
• Optimize system performance through profiling and native software development.
• Collaborate with teams using Git, Gerrit, and Jira to manage development lifecycles.
• Implement software solutions within the RDK video stack.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in embedded software development.
• Expertise in C and C++ programming.
• Deep knowledge of RDK video stack and Set Top Box software architectures.
• Strong understanding of Linux internals, POSIX standards, and media frameworks.
• Experience with Yocto, Git, and Gerrit.
• Proficiency in shell scripting.
• Knowledge of device drivers and low-level platform software.
• Familiarity with silicon trends including CPU, GPU, NPU, and memory.
• Experience using Jira and Confluence for project tracking.
