You will design, develop, and troubleshoot software solutions using modern programming languages and frameworks.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Create secure, high-quality production code and maintain synchronous algorithms.
• Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while ensuring design constraints are met.
• Analyze and visualize large, diverse data sets to drive improvements in coding hygiene and system architecture.
• Develop, debug, and maintain code within a large corporate environment.
• Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and emerging technology exploration.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of applied software engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with React, Angular, Java, and J2EE.
• Experience building REST APIs, Web Services, and event-driven Microservices.
• Proficiency with containerization and orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, and ECS.
• Experience provisioning resources with Terraform.
• Practical experience in system design, application development, and testing.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
• Knowledge of data modeling, database design, and database querying languages.
• Exposure to observability and monitoring via Splunk or CloudWatch.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Spinnaker.
• Experience with AWS Lambda using Python.
