Description

Lead front-end architecture and engineering for complex web applications, owning the full lifecycle from design to production observability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build scalable React applications using modern patterns, hooks, and context.
• Enforce strict TypeScript typing, generics, and strictness strategies across the codebase.
• Own the frontend test strategy, implementing unit, integration, and E2E tests with Jest, Vitest, React Testing Library, and Playwright/Cypress.
• Optimize performance through profiling, bundle splitting, caching strategies, and Core Web Vitals improvements.
• Maintain accessibility standards (WCAG/ARIA) and ensure security best practices against XSS/CSRF.

Required Skills

• 8+ years professional software engineering experience with deep front-end specialization.
• Expert-level React proficiency including component composition and concurrency patterns.
• Strong TypeScript skills with a focus on types-as-design and strictness.
• Experience with modern build tools: Vite, Webpack, Babel, SWC, and package managers (npm/pnpm/yarn).
• Advanced CSS skills including responsive design, CSS Modules, CSS-in-JS, or utility frameworks.
• Proficiency in GraphQL and REST API integration, including schema-driven development and client state management.
• Mandatory proficiency with AI-assisted engineering tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) for implementation and debugging.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with monorepo structures and build/release pipelines.
• Knowledge of OIDC and secure authentication/session patterns.
