You will develop, execute, and improve mobile engineering projects and business solutions.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Execute mobile engineering projects from discovery through implementation.
• Troubleshoot production issues and business requirements for mobile devices.
• Develop action plans to improve mobile software performance and scalability.
• Participate in peer code reviews and team development initiatives.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience building scalable ecommerce applications or mobile software.
• Proficiency in React Native, Android, and iOS development.
• Experience with mobile software development using Java.
• Experience with distributed source code version control using Git or GitHub.
• Experience working within the Scrum agile methodology.
• Experience developing mobile network clients using HTTP, REST APIs, and Google Cloud Messaging.
• Experience with Google Play APIs including Maps, Location, and Cloud Messaging.
• Experience with debugging techniques, loggers, and crash report tools.
• Experience analyzing memory leaks and issues using DDMS or MAT.
• Strong understanding of design patterns, MVC, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience performing unit and integration testing for Android code.
• Must have a published Android application.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with embedded real-time systems with limited memory and processing resources.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
