Description

You will administer and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments, ensuring high availability, security, and performance across hybrid infrastructure.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Manage Red Hat Satellite Server for system lifecycle, updates, and patching compliance.
• Execute complex storage migration activities using LVM, ASM, and Multipath technologies.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and operational tasks using Ansible and custom scripting.
• Monitor system health and resolve performance bottlenecks using Nagios.
• Administer virtualized environments via VMware and orchestrate containers using Kubernetes, Rancher, and OpenShift.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration.
• 3+ years of experience with Red Hat Satellite Server.
• 3+ years of experience with Ansible automation and configuration management.
• 5+ years of scripting proficiency in Perl, Bash, or Python.
• 3+ years of experience with storage management (LVM, ASM, Multipath).
• 3+ years of VMware administration experience.
• 2+ years of experience with Ubuntu Linux and IBM/AIX systems.
• 2+ years of experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher, and OpenShift.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience participating in large-scale data center migration projects.
