Description

You will manage and optimize RHEL and Ubuntu-based environments, ensuring performance and seamless integration.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage RHEL and Ubuntu systems to maintain stability and performance.
• Develop shell scripts to automate routine tasks and improve system efficiency.
• Configure CRON jobs for task scheduling, log monitoring, and routine maintenance.
• Manage Red Hat Satellite and Ubuntu Landscape for streamlined deployment and system administration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex system issues and minimize downtime.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in system administration.
• Strong knowledge of RHEL and Ubuntu installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in shell scripting using Bash or Python.
• Experience with CRON job scheduling and system logging.
• Familiarity with SFTP and secure file transfer protocols.
• Hands-on experience with Red Hat Satellite and Ubuntu Landscape.
• Ability to analyze and resolve complex system issues.
