Description

You will serve as the platform technical lead for Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead automation strategies using Ansible.
• Deploy RHEL patches, platform updates, and system software updates.
• Perform daily operations support, including problem isolation, troubleshooting, and resolution.
• Document all processes, procedures, and configurations.
• Collaborate with application teams and stakeholders to develop operational efficiency strategies.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.x/8.x Platform Administration.
• Expertise in installation, configuration, optimization, backup, and recovery.
• Proven experience with the US Federal Government.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Strong technical communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field (or 11+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree).
