Description

You will manage, secure, and optimize Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments across development, testing, and production lifecycles.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain RHEL servers, including system upgrades, patch management, and security hardening.
• Implement automation scripts using Ansible, Bash, or Python to streamline administration tasks.
• Configure and maintain Red Hat Satellite, Identity Management (IdM), and other RHEL ecosystem tools.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot OS-level issues, and manage NFS setups and mount points.
• Maintain disaster recovery solutions and configure cron jobs for systems and applications.

Required Skills

• Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator (RHCSA) certification with a valid certification number.
• 5+ years of extensive experience in Linux administration and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with Ansible, Bash, and Python for infrastructure automation.
• Experience administering Unix (AIX) IBM pSeries systems.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle WebLogic Servers and Oracle Database Servers.
• Deep understanding of Linux configuration, performance tuning, and application-level troubleshooting.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with vSphere hosted RHEL Servers and Rubrik backup systems.
• Knowledge of Apache Web Servers, Progress 4GL, and Elastic Search.
• Experience working in 24/7 high-availability environments.
