Description

You will manage and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers across development, testing, and production environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain RHEL servers, including Red Hat Satellite and Identity Management (IdM).
• Perform system upgrades, patch management, and security hardening to meet compliance standards.
• Automate administration tasks using Ansible, Bash, or Python scripts.
• Manage storage, NFS setup, mount points, and disaster recovery solutions including Rubrik and Oracle Database backups.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and support application teams with Linux-based deployments.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of total experience in Information Technology.
• 10+ years of experience as a Red Hat system administrator.
• 10+ years of experience administering Unix (AIX) IBM pSeries systems.
• Proficiency with RHEL, Ansible, Bash, and Python.
• Experience with Oracle Database, Oracle WebLogic, and Oracle OBI.
• Hands-on experience with NFS, PeopleSoft, and Elastic Search.
• Strong networking knowledge within complex networked environments.
• Experience managing vSphere hosted RHEL servers and Apache Web Servers.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Progress 4GL/OpenEdge and CVS (Concurrent Version System).
• Knowledge of Mobius and Oracle OBIs.
