Description

You will manage and maintain Red Hat Linux server environments across on-premises and cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and manage Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL 7+) environments to ensure optimal availability and performance.
• Develop automation scripts to streamline system administration and infrastructure management tasks.
• Execute software installations, package upgrades, and system maintenance according to established schedules.
• Manage system backups and database archive operations to ensure data integrity.
• Maintain technical documentation for system architecture, technological portfolios, and standard operating procedures.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Linux system administration.
• Strong expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and deep understanding of systemd.
• Proficiency in TCP/IP networking, including VPN, routing, HTTP, and DNS.
• Experience with network security devices and firewalls.
• Hands-on experience with version control using Git (GitHub, Bitbucket, or GitLab).
• Knowledge of cloud technologies including AWS, Kubernetes, and Containers (Docker/Podman).
• Experience with virtualization via VMWare and Windows environments.
• Familiarity with database architecture including PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and ElasticSearch.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies and familiarity with Jenkins build technologies.
• Proficiency in scripting languages including Bash, Python, and *nix shell.

Preferred Skills

• Scripting skills in Bash or Python.
