Description

You will manage and scale OpenShift-based platforms for hosting Java applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage OpenShift clusters, including scaling, upgrades, and security hardening.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Java applications using Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Automate Java application deployment and configuration within OpenShift using Tomcat.
• Administer Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS) and manage OpenShift resources like quotas, limits, and Operators.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and operational tasks using Infrastructure-as-Code.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in DevOps or systems administration.
• 5+ years of experience working with OpenShift in a production environment.
• Strong expertise in Linux server administration (RHEL, CentOS).
• Extensive experience with Java application deployment and Tomcat.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools including Jenkins and GitLab CI.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible, Terraform, and configuration management.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash and Python.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Jboss, Websphere, AWS, Azure, or GCP.
