Description

You will manage and support containerized infrastructure and data streaming platforms.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Install and support Apache Kafka environments.
• Configure and maintain open-source SQL databases including PostgreSQL or Presto DB.
• Manage application deployment within Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes.
• Troubleshoot database connections, execute backups, and develop basic queries.
• Write scripts to consume APIs and validate data for web-based applications.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience with Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes.
• 3+ years of experience installing and supporting Apache Kafka.
• 4+ years of experience installing and configuring PostgreSQL or Presto DB.
• 2+ years of experience working with web-based applications and API consumption.
• Experience with data validation scripting.
• Ability to perform database backups and query development.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with shell scripting and crontab.
