Description

You will manage, harden, and automate Red Hat and other Linux systems across VMware and Azure environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Red Hat 8/9, Ubuntu, and Rocky Linux systems for performance and security.
• Implement server hardening measures and manage system vulnerabilities across Linux servers.
• Build and manage Virtual Machines within VMware and Azure cloud environments.
• Develop and maintain automation using Ansible for system provisioning and configuration.
• Administer SFTP servers, ensuring secure file transfer and access controls.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in Linux OS administration.
• Strong expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 8 and 9.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible and Ansible Playbooks for automation.
• Proficiency in Bash/shell Scripting for task automation and monitoring.
• Experience building and managing VMs in VMware and Azure.
• Knowledge of Red Hat Satellite Server for patching and provisioning.
• Experience with vulnerability assessment and remediation on Linux.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with CentOS Linux Administrator tasks.
• Experience hardening Linux servers according to security compliance practices.
