Description

Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure and relational database environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer AWS cloud platforms including EC2, Redshift, VPC, S3, and RDS.
• Optimize data pipelines, data sets, and SQL query performance.
• Secure and harden operating systems, networks, databases, and applications.
• Manage incident response lifecycles and support Agile development workflows.

Required Skills

• 8 to 10 years of experience in system, platform, and AWS cloud administration.
• 5 to 7 years of database administration and AWS experience.
• Advanced SQL knowledge, query authoring, and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake.
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows systems.
• Scripting experience using KSH shell or PowerShell.
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP protocol suite and security architecture.
• Experience with version management tools and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience using JIRA within Agile environments.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Solution Architect certifications.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
