Description

Manage AWS database environments and optimize data pipelines.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer AWS databases including Redshift, RDS, and S3.
• Optimize data pipelines and datasets for performance.
• Perform query authoring and performance tuning using advanced SQL.
• Secure and harden operating systems, networks, databases, and applications.
• Manage incident response lifecycles and system administration across Linux and Windows.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database and cloud administration.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Redshift, RDS, S3, EC2, NLB, and VPC.
• Snowflake administration experience.
• Advanced SQL knowledge and relational database expertise.
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows OS platforms.
• Scripting experience using KSH shell or PowerShell.
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP protocol suite and security architecture.
• Experience with version management tools and CI/CD pipelines.
• Agile software development experience using Jira.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Solution Architect certifications.
